This is exactly what I felt like today when I found out about the deadline for my show in Asheville. Aaaarrghhhh....I'm going to try a new paint texture with filings from a foundry in Thomasville and an organic cotton canvas that I made last week. The colors seem to have more shades of deep blue and different tones of gray with hints of shimmering orange when mixed I mix the filings with my oil bases. I suspect winter's weather changes will be manifested in the first painting.
As an aside, what exactly does resident physician translate into? I literally ran into a guy by Reynolds high school this morning while jogging. He looked entirely too young to have finished his training and told me he was doctor when we stopped to talk.

Resident is a doctor that has finished medical school but is getting trained to practice. A bald guy told me he was a resident there when we went out like three months ago. I wouldn't let a resident practice on my body.
Filings sound good...maybe we can get my brother to pose if you are interested.

Mary is right. Resident is what I am, and I practice on people everyday but I have an attending that provides guidance and direction.
Alas...is anyone going home this week or should I cook?

I think the paintings sound great. I call Mary's brother for the nude pose.
no nude painting ladies...this is abstract inspired unless Mary's brother will pose for a private nude session.
